Nestled among the hills of The Range in Rockhampton, the exterior of this house has been given a full spruce up. This included a complete repaint to the exterior, a full roof restoration, updates to the rear deck and some internal paint touchups throughout.
First job was for our clients to meet with Paint Place CQ's Colour and Design Expert, Karen, to choose their new colour scheme for the property. The owners wanted to freshen the look of their home and also remove any varnished timber features which were proving to be a maintenance issue.
From there the Spruce It tradies got to work and started to prep the house for painting. This included fixing any rotting timber and also sanding back the deck.
The roof of this home needed a clean-up and restoration including repointing, algae and mould removal and new tiles (where they were damaged or missing). Roof tiles were then cleared and sealed to protect and stop mould and algae from forming again.
Once the project was complete, the Spruce It team worked with the owners to setup an ongoing home maintenance plan which includes a yearly house wash and inspection to ensure their home is kept in tip-top shape.
The overall aim of this project was to reduce future maintenance costs for the owners, while giving the property a new and fresh look. We think it turned out pretty awesome - check out some of the before and after photos below.
